剧本源自已故英国着名作家斯特普尔斯·刘易斯在上世纪50年代创作的《纳尼亚纪事》系列畅销儿童魔幻读物。讲述了一个驱魔除恶的惊心动魄的故事：二战期间，4个英国小孩被父母送往乡下躲避战火。后来他们在一个偶然机会穿过一个魔幻衣橱，从而进入了神奇世界纳尼亚，这原是一块和平乐土，生活着巨人、侏儒和会说话的动物，但不幸被白色女巫施魔咒变成了冰冻世界。代表正义的狮子阿斯兰在孩子们的帮助下与女巫展开恶战，最终破除了她的魔咒，使纳尼亚大地冰雪消融，万物回春，恢复了往日的美丽和生机。

Based on the classic novel by CS Lewis. Four London children are sent to a professors country home in order for protection ring World War II. There they find a magic wardrobe which leads to a mystical land called Narnia, which is being ruled by an evil witch. Based on the 2nd in the series of books by CS Lewis, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, tells the story of 4 children who go to live with an old professor ring the war. One day, while playing hide and seek, Lucy, the youngest of the children, finds a wardrobe which leads to a magical land called Narnia. However Narnia is being ruled by the evil White Witch who has made it snow for 100 years and according the an old prophecy, Edmund, Lucy, Peter and Susan are the "chosen ones" who will defeat the Witch. They are assisted by the true ruler of Narnia, the lion, Aslan. With the good Narnians on their side all 4 children must now defeat the witch using all their strength and fulfill their destinies to become the new kings and queens of Narnia. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are deported from London to the house of an eccentric professor ring World War II. They find life in the house extremely ll, until Lucy discovers a wardrobe that leads to a magical world called Narnia, where animals can talk and all are ruled over by the wise and benevolent lion Aslan. The others don't believe her at first, but soon all of them go through the wardrobe and discover all is not well in Narnia. The land is being kept in a perpetual winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis, who turns anyone who doesn't obey her into stone. 她并没有死，她最后化身为螃蟹掀起了海中的漩涡。Tia Dalma 其实是女海神，被封印在凡人的身体里了，变成螃蟹是她的灵魂被释放，回到了女神的形态，因为是海女神，所以她可以化身成海里的任何生物。
螃蟹是她化身的，只是电影里她选择了化身成螃蟹，她也可以化身成其它她想化身的生物。
